18 year old guy trying to lose weight

I am 18 and I am 250lbs, and 5"8'. I need to lose weight for both my physical health, as it will eventually start taking a toll on my joints etc, and my type 1 diabetes (Starting to get insulin resistant). (I'd also prefer to not look fat, as it gives me some body image issues, but my health is my main priority)

Keto is something I am looking into, but t1d complicates things!

I don't really know where to start, and people always say that each person kind of has their own method that works best for them.

I don't know how the hell to get into losing weight, but I am a person who needs specific numbers to follow. I can't just do general things. I am black and white in that aspect I guess you could say

I have read a little about macros, and I was wondering how to get into those? I don't really work out at all, and I am not sure when a good time to start would be.

I just need someone to help me set stuff up, there's so much and I need a lot of help. If anyone can help me, redirect me to someone that can, or has any advice, PLEASE let me know! I will greatly appreciate it!!

I think the hardest part for me is finding something to stick to as well
