Thoughts on Cardio

(M 20 SW295/CW 245) I’ve slowly been losing my love for lifting as I can do 45 minutes on the treadmill and burn upwards of 500 calories. I can answer texts and be in my own world I don’t eat as much when I run compared to when I lift and my question is,

Is there anything wrong with just doing cardio?What are the pros and cons to just running/walking?

I feel good and my joints are holding up, I’ll occasionally hit a set of some compound movement as my powerlifting ego is still intact but I want to transition into endurance running
