Weight Loss for Everyone: Am I doing all the right things?

Am I doing all the right things?

I’ve struggled with my weight for a long time. I’ve come a long way in my mental struggles with it but still have my days. I just want to make sure that I’m on the right track. I’m working now on trying my best to focus on getting stronger rather than just the skinny. Easier said than done but overall, I’d still like to have fat loss. I’m currently 188 lbs at 5’7. I’ve calculated my TDEE is about 2500 calories. I work from home but I try to get at least a 30 minute walk in at lunchtime and I’m weightlifting at least 1 hour 5 days a week. I’ve set my calories at 2000 calories, sometimes I go up to 2100 calories but I’ve been measuring everything to make sure I’m not underestimating. I’m making sure to prioritize protein and take my vitamins daily. Overall, I can definitely tell a difference already in my body. I’ve lost 2 lbs over 3 and 1/2 weeks. I also took my measurements in November and I’ve lost an inch on my waist. I just kind of want confirmation that I’m doing the right thing. It’s hard not to get wrapped up in how slow things are progressing when you see others progressing faster. So that’s my question, am I on the right track? Should I change anything or just keeping doing what I’m doing? Any advice is welcome! Thank you in advance.
