30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 1

Hello lovely losers!

I’m so jazzed to see so many folks on the sign up post! Welcome newbies & returning champs. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to respond to your wonderful goals but I’ve read them & I’m so excited for the month ahead for all of us!

For the newbies to the sub reddit, please start here, so much good info!

So, how was day 1? I’ll slap my goals down if you do!

Weigh in daily, enter in Libra & remind self that it’s a number not a self-worth estimate: Yikes. I really didn’t like the number I saw this morning. But. That is just a number. It is not correlated to my self worth or value.

1800 calorie a day, do not adjust for exercise: On it today. I made myself prelog dinner before I posted. Prelogging helps me immensely. 1/1 days.

Exercise 5 days a week (strength work/tbar swings 3 days a week): 35 minute lunch walk today. 1/1 days. I had an appointment after work but I want to push for a walk & a dedicated work out in the evening.

Writing project and/or journaling -1,666 words a day: Spent a little time journaling & really hammering out some junk. Figurative junk. Also, therapy. That’s pretty much verbal journaling only with a sane person to be like, whoa, easy on the self loathing.

Todays gratitude list: Today I’m grateful for getting some sunshine, how beautiful the mountains are on the horizon & getting some quiet time in tonight.

Express intention (day, week, month or moment): I intend to make more choices that support my long-time goal of being healthier versus giving into the moment of stress with an unhealthy coping mechanism.

Your turn!
