I got home from the gym, and my daughters grandma had gotten her jack in the box because I gave the ok. I have chicken nuggets, a taco, and half a cheesecake in front of me. I sat down, ate my salmon, veggie, and grilled calamari concoction. Same tiny table the jack in the box is at.
I did have a piece of cheesecake, but only because I underate today and thought about it in advance .
I’m a binge eater. I could devour all of this food right now, especially because my daughter definitely won’t eat it all.
I feel like I have the mental strength not to , and I’m proud I cooked my meal and ate it first, before thinking “ah, what’s another cheat day gonna do?”
I don’t know, personal victory . Especially if I keep this up the rest of the night .

I’ve lost about 5lbs since the “official” start of my journey 3wks ago, but mentally I’ve lost a boatload of baggage.
