Starting over is hard

So this is the same old story that I'm sure many people have seen. I've lost weight before, fairly successfully, going from ~290 down to 232 at my lowest. I was proud of myself. And I was living good. But, as things happen over time things started to slip. I started working out pretty regularly, but stopped tracking calories and tried to go for a more intuitive approach. I still felt good but floated back up to ~250. I settled there for about a year, but then as life goes on things happened. Change of job, moved states, and life happened. Here I am 3 years later and I'm back up at 280.

I'm starting over. Back to counting calories, now that things have settled down. I've down several false starts over the past year, but I think I'm back on it now. It's only been a week, but as weird as it is I feel like I'm gonna stick with it this time. I guess I'm posting this for two reasons. The first is another classic reason, I've lurked here for a long time and this places has helped some of the rough times that come with this journey and be a part of the community. The other reason is just to share this small story, hope that this helps some other people, and remind them that even if you fall off the wagon you can get back on.
