It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. I've been sweating for 2 days wondering what I was going to do with the mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, peas and carrots, pie etc tonight, especially without the salad I would normally have to fill me up before hand. Luckily we had the supper at home and just had the in-laws over so I still had access to my food scale. No one said anything, but I weighed out my food as I normally would and it turned out way better than expected. Sure, it was a lot smaller plate then I would have had last year, but I was full at the end.
It was definitely the highest calorie meal I've had in the 2 weeks since I've started, but I'm still 150 below my daily count and the best part is I don't feel like I shoved a basketball into my stomach haha. Christmas meals will be the next challenge, but today gave me hope that I can make it through the holidays without over eating.
Tomorrow morning will be my second weigh-in. Can't wait to see how this week's work has done!
