Hello! I thought it was interesting how my body changed during my diet/exercise routine I started in December and wanted to share. It was a shock tbh I thought the process would take several years but about 9 months in I lost all the weight I wanted to plus another 15lbs.
About my workouts, consistency is key! My workouts are short, sweet, and I have been doing the same routine for more than 6 months. My workouts are far from ideal by any standards (30 min workout 30 min cardio), but i made it into something that I enjoy and can track progress in. I think if you don't enjoy your workouts, your not gunna still be doing them a few months from now, so sacrificing here and there in order for it to be more enjoyable for you I think is really worth it on the long run.
My diet was about a 500 deficit high protein low carb, I've been at maintenance or a little over for about a month now. Once again I want to stress that liking your diet is key. I made big time habits out of my diet eating almost the same thing every day, and I enjoy all my foods, sometimes I made changes to a little worse food in order for it to taste better. It just helped me enjoy my diet and stay consistent with it over the long term.
You can probably tell I'm trying to preach consistency!! Make some sacrifices to stay consistent, and good luck!
My pics are from December, and then about a 4 month gap and then every month or two. ( I did not enjoy taking pics early)
