i am still in awe as i’m writing this honestly
i have been actively trying to reach a healthier weight since middle of August (when i first downloaded the lose it app), and i have been successful thus far. i have been tracking my calories and averaging around 1800 calories a day, and i have been seeing so many small changes already. but today really blew me out of the water. i was going to a concert tonight a couple of hours away, so i decided not to track my calories and relax and not think about what i eat for a day. i was a little worried because i knew we’d be getting fast food for dinner (we ended up getting it for lunch too:-/…)
throughout the course of the day, i ate slowly, drank lots of water, and listened to my body when i was full. i got home and while laying in bed, i was wondering how many calories i ate. why the hell not, i’m already done eating anyways. so i put everything i ate in lose it and …. I WAS AT 1860 CALORIES!!!
i’ve never been able to listen to when i’m full, let alone be around my calorie goal while not tracking. this is a huge deal for me because i have binge eating disorder, and although i don’t binge as often as i used to, i still overeat until it’s a little ubcomfy sometimes.
i was so happy and i felt that i had to share with the place that got me started!!woohoo!!! here’s to the weight i still need to lose🎉
