Hello, i've been on a "diet" where i ate once a day, but about 1.5k calories. It varied the amount i ate, some days i ate 1600, some days i ate only about 1000. Nonetheless from the possible health risks from eating too little calories. I lost about 25 lbs in about 2-3 months.
My issue is body fat. I've been able to tell that i've been getting somewhat slimmer from clothing tightness to my body feeling slightly lighter. I still have lots of fat on my body especially around my stomach and thigh's. I've been searching that eating a high calorie deficit diet can lead to muscle loss, and been wondering if i've been losing more muscle mass then fat, because my body fat percentages have been somewhat "consistent" in my testing, from 3 months ago and until now.
My plan was to start resistant training and eating protein, but I wanted to know how important eating a lot of protein is for a "body recomposition".
