I(F/29/5’6”/191 lbs) have been unhappy with my weight for a while. A cross country move left me depressed and food became a comfort. I have never weighed this much, but I have always had difficulty losing any weight.
However, ive been wanting to work towards serious lifestyle changes in general with recently getting engaged and wanting to try for children. I want to pass better habits to my children.
I began using the loseit! App with the plan of losing one lb a week as to not be aggressive and attempt to make sure the changes stick. With my new goals, it has been easier than ever before to stick to my plan.
Per the app, I should be eating 1781 calories a day. I’ve cut out all snacking, minimized my soda intake, and strictly calorie counted including my use of condiments. I’ve consistently been eating anywhere from 1350-1500 calories a day. I have a relatively active job as an RN, but am still looking to increase my activity levels as well.
I have a very delicate relationship with food due to a previous relationship where I was forced to diary and weigh daily, so I am trying to not be too overbearing with my plan. It’s been a little over a month, so I decided to weigh myself.
Absolutely no weight lost.
Im feeling absolutely defeated and confused.
