Can anyone explain this to me?

I’m female, 22, 5'2", and 209 lbs.

I‘ve already lost 30 lbs, but I‘m still obese. I‘m currently following a high restriction diet because, to be honest, nothing else seemed to work anymore. I‘ve tried so many diets that I can not count them anymore. If I lost any weight at all, I would soon reach a plateau and start gaining again, without changing my diet at all. I would sometimes gain up to 4 lbs overnight, which also happened on keto, so carbs are not the only thing to blame.

I consumed 483 calories on Friday and gained 1.7 lbs overnight. I‘m not on my period, I didn‘t eat a large amount of salt, and I‘m drinking enough water.

How is this even possible?

I feel betrayed by my own body.
