Mental cues?

Hello!

I'm 20 years old at 220 pounds at 5' 11ft, i've been trying to lose weight for roughly two years but after losing 30 pounds last summer I gained all of it back during my post secondary school year. My entire life I have never had any restraint and ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted which paved the way to developing huge bad habits. I am currently weighing my foods and trying to count my macros but do you guys have an mental cues or tips I could use to stop feeling like I need to eat more food? Without me even knowing, I just go straight to the fridge bc its something for my mouth to do and then I realise what I'm doing after i eat everything and then feel cathartic after eating a whole block of aged cheddar cheese.

Do you guys have any mental cues or tips that have helped you stay on track? I'm trying to go outside and do some hobbies to get my mind off food except covid is really putting a damper on that and forces me to stay inside all day long!
