Losing my motivation

I (35F) restarted my weight loss journey somewhere in last half of December 2020, but progress has been painfully slow. I turned 35 in December, and feel my age may be a reason for the lack of progress. I barely lost 1 kg or so in 1 month.

Over the weekend, I weighed myself again and the lack of progress really got to me and I binged over the weekend. Ta-da! Monday morning and that 1 kg is back on the scale. I don't know what I am doing wrong or what is going on with me.

Earlier (incl in 2020) I had been able to lose some weight and lost motivation down the way and gained it all back and some more. I am regretting stopping the regime when I was still losing weight!! I tried doing some workout today and gave up half way, because I just felt so hopeless!! Want help on how can I get back in the game and change my mind frame to push on, even when the results may not come by so soon!! Thanks a lot!
