I have somewhat of a weird problem going on. I have been losing weight for a round 8 months and been in a caloric deficit most of that time. I usually eat 1600 calories on a daily basis. I wanted to get out of this calorie deficit this week, so 2 weeks ago I decided to do a “no carb” thing to lose a little more weight quickly. I dropped a pound or two and went off of it. I decided to up my calories to 1900 to come out of my cut. I can’t believe I’m saying this but In about 9 days I’ve apparently gained 5 pounds of fat.
I took pictures of myself 9 days ago when I was at 161 and now I’m about 166.7? I literally have a stomach again and it’s not just water weight, I can literally grab a handful of fat around my stomach when I absolutely could not do that a little over a week ago. I’m immensely confused how this could have even happened. I weigh all my food with a scale and count my macros in my fitness pal. I feel like something is wrong with my body to gain this amount of visceral fat. If anyone could help me figure out why this is happening I’d really appreciate it.
