I’ve been trying to find a good balance of healthy eating and exercise to get into a bit more shape. I used to eat a lot of snacks that weren’t great for me and would drink lots of stuff besides water. I’ve cut out all the not great foods which means I’ve mostly stopped eating outside of breakfast and dinner. I’m really picky with foods but am desperately trying to get better, I cook everything from scratch and slowly I’ve been adding more vegetables and other things to my diet so I’m less picky, it’s slow progress but definitely something I’m working on overcoming (I’m a super taster as dumb as that sounds so it’s tough). Now that I’ve cut out a lot of stuff I’m not sure I’m totally eating enough. The online calorie calculator thing says I should eat about 1900 calories a day with all my exercise or 1400 if I want to be in a deficit. I realized honestly I’m maybe close to 1000 by the end of the day if I’m lucky. I’ve never really gotten a ton of hunger signals but I’ve noticed I’m beyond exhausted since starting all this but I figured I was just finally wearing myself out exercising for the first real time in my life. I’m about to start my bachelors program at a great college and I want to make sure I’m eating enough to support that while also working to stay more fit. I’m 5’3 and about 114 pounds, I don’t mind if the actual scale doesn’t change but I’d love to just see my body looking more fit and toned. Do I just need to throw in a few snacks through out the day to get that up or just increase what I’m eating at breakfast and dinner? I’ve definitely already seen some changes in my body over the last few weeks that I’m honestly happy with and I’d like to keep that going while not so tired lol
