First picture is my starting weight around 320lbs, second picture is today.
It’s easy to forget how much progress you make. This is why progress pictures are important. I was really down today because it felt like I hadn’t made progress in ages, so I broke out my emergency progress pictures to remind me how far I’ve come and how actually quick this journey has been.
I have found this to be the toughest thing I’ve done in my life. But I’ve done it.
I’m on day 150 of meeting my exercise goal on my Apple Watch (700 calories every single day). I started with walks, getting longer and faster and just recently introduced light jogging. I’m a fan of apple products and I had my watch for ages but if I knew how powerful this thing was before I started, I’d have started sooner. It’s a game changer at motivating you.
The other thing I would credit for my progress so far (and I’m not a shill) is Huel. Not for everyone but I’ve been using it as my lunchtime meal every day and it seems to be working.
This post is for the people who, like me today, just need a little pick me up to keep going - you can do it and I believe in you.
