Hi everyone. I've been lurking on this sub for a long time and have learned a lot from reading through other people's stories and insights.
I am a 6'2" male and started my weightloss journey when I stepped on the scale and read that I was nearing 340lbs (338lbs to be exact). I am currently down to 304lbs. When I got to this weight I started going to the gym about, which was about 4-5 weeks ago. While I'm there, I'm doing a bit of cardio and some weightlifting. I have been going pretty 3-4 times a week every week since starting.
As far as food goes, I calculated my TDEE maintenance calories to be 2,908. Initially I cut my calories down to about 2100 but this was difficult for me to maintain so I'm at 2350 currently. Since I started going to the gym, the scale really hasn't moved lower than the 304lbs mark and while I'm loving how I feel recently, I'd really like to see some progress on the scale.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can do to move past this point? Should I stop lifting and focus solely on cardio? Should I cut a few more calories? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!
