Is it normal to have a spite in appetite and then have it come to a sudden halt?

Hey guys! It’s my first time posting so please be kind. I’ve got a fitness/diet related question that’s been bugging me and it’s a long one so please bear with me! Basically, I (F/24) consider myself pretty active, have done competitive sports in school since I was 14 all the way up till I was around 21. I’m 24 now - for the past few years, running has been my main form of exercise and following short youtube workouts mainly, until May of this year when I started strength training proper. I noticed my appetite increasing and my trainer has told me this is extremely common. I felt really good about it as honestly, I haven’t had the best relationship with food even though I was active (I wouldn’t consider it to be an extreme eating disorder but I definitely identified disordered eating patterns and i never really felt hungry). Being aware of my hunger cues after strength training has been so great for me and my psychological health. However, recently, my appetite became even bigger, and more rapid, ie: I’d get hungry within an hour of eating a full meal. I was concerned as this was a heightened level of hunger and as I tried to honour my hunger cues, I did eat when i felt hungry and didn’t deprive myself. Of course I was concerned it was going to crossover into binging and gaining excess weight from the amount of calories i’m eating. (I do track and i’m at an average of 1.5 -1.7k calorie intake each day) just yesterday, after a very satiating meal, i felt that I was bloating quite badly (and have been for awhile) and suddenly the hunger pangs stopped. I know it’s just one day, but today’s the first day i didn’t have my stomach growling throughout the day. Is this normal for appetites to increase and suddenly halt to a stop? Just for some context, i’ve still been training regularly, lifting heavier, also still doing cardio, mainly running at longer distances. My best guess is that my body has been adjusting to the increase physical activity and cueing myself to eat enough to supplement the activity i’m doing everyday, and now perhaps i’m finally at a “set” food intake. Has anyone experienced this before? Would appreciate your sharing! Update: it’s now day 2 and i still don’t feel as ravenous as before
