How to stop eating sugar when you can’t remove it from your home?

I’m a sugar addict. I’m simply going to call it as it is. I am currently living with my parents who bring sugary snacks into the home, lining the cupboards with this stuff and they refuse to stop. I can’t make them stop either - it is their home, after all. It makes it extremely easy for me to slip up and eat sugar. I really don’t know how to change in this environment - and changing my environment isn’t an option at the moment. I can only resist temptation for so long before it stresses me out so hard that I cave. I know that sugar hijacks your brain in the same way that cocaine does, and so it’s like having cocaine lining the shelves of the home of a cocaine addict who’s trying to quit. How can I manage to quit eating this crap when it’s all around me? Does anyone have any advice?
