I think I need some guidance on how to improve my diet. I have already lost some weight just by logging on MyFitnessPal, and so far my goal hasn't been to try changing anything drastically, just log what I'm eating. I only eat when I'm hungry, so I usually only eat a small lunch and a larger dinner. Usually, this ends up with too low of an amount of calories. I know this isn't the best way to go about this, but I tend to eat a controlled portion of junk food to increase the calories. Sometimes this ends in me going a bit higher than my fat, sodium, or sugar goals. I also tend to have low calcium, potassium, and iron. What are some nutrient dense snacks I can eat to in order to increase my calories and vitamins without eating too much fat or sodium. Also, I am a vegetarian, so perhaps I should try taking a few supplements?
