Energy Drinks?

Hi everyone! I've already lost 30 lbs by Intermittent fasting and switching to eating mostly salads and vegetables. My biggest weakness however is iced coffees and basically anything with caffeine (nightshift worker here!)

However recently this week I switched from drinking my own homemade coffees with a touch of sweetner to Monster Zero energy drinks and they keep me awake during my long shifts really well. But! By the time it comes for me it eat my meal, I feel ravenous and sometimes I even have to eat earlier than my pre-planned eating window because I don't think I could last any longer. Has anyone else felt like this while drinking low-cal energy drinks? Is it the caffeine or the acid or both?
