Body dysmorphia and overweight, unhelpful combination

Just looking for someone to talk to really. I go to the gym and now have a personal trainer and am still struggling to lose weight. I know it's the food that's the problem.

By the time I get home from work after a long day, I find it much easier to just put in oven chips and have them (I'm a vegetarian and am quite bad for eating beige food)

Not looking for sympathy with this post as I know its my own fault with the food and lifestyle.

My main issues are I love eating. My 2nd issue is that I have a desk job so I'm sitting down all day. Even going to the gym 4x a week doesn't help when I'm sitting down 8 hours a day.

I slowly started to lose some weight latter half of 2019, only to put on a stone and a half during lockdown.

At the moment, I'm 5 ft 6, and 103kg. My immediate short term goal is to get down below 100kg.

I'm in a vicious cycle of hating what I look like, comfort eating and then hating what I look like.

Just looking to chat and exchange tips really.
