I had not been in 5 weeks due to being very busy and then having to self-isolate for a couple of weeks. After my isolation I kept delaying returning because I knew it was going to be hard after taking some time off.
Finally dragged myself back there on Wednesday and Friday and I am so glad. It wasn’t as tough as I expected, I got a good sweat in and a decent calorie burn too. I also discovered I have not gained a single pound the whole time I was not exercising which pleased me.
The difference in how I feel is amazing, I feel like I’m back in the game already. All it took was to go to that one gym session I kept cancelling and putting off until tomorrow haha. Typical.
