I have to get off Keto ASAP due to an electrolyte issue - how do I do it and not lose my progress?

I’ve been on my weight loss journey since last October.

I’ve lost 48 pounds. 7 of those pounds have been in the last month from Keto.

I slashed my carbs when I was stalled out at 207 and pretty hungry the last week of June. I have been full Keto since, broke my stall, and FINALLY entered Onederland.

It completely erased my hunger which was amazing.

But now I have to get off Keto. I have diabetes inspidus. It’s different from regular, Insulin Diabetes. It’s a hormone deficiency that makes my body unable to regulate water and fluids.

Without the hormone I take for it my body won’t retain any water and I’ll get unbelievably thirsty (I would just pee it all out) and get dangerously low sodium. So the medication supplements the hormone and regulates my thirst and my urine production.

Keto does the opposite of what I need. It dehydrates me and works against the medication.

It’s made Keto a nightmare and I was recently informed I’m playing with fire staying on it.

I just don’t know how to successfully get off of it and not backslide and lose all my progress.
