Women of lose it, how do you deal with PMS cravings?

I have been doing great with my diet and exercise, going on my fourth week now. I’m losing, and I feel sooooo much better already! I’m excited and motivated for the long haul.

However...

It’s that time of the month, and my chocolate cravings are unbearable! Since I started eating healthier, I haven’t really missed big desserts, unhealthy food, etc. One piece of small dark chocolate for dessert has been fine and satisfying, and I haven’t particularly felt deprived. If my mind lands on something like chocolate, I have been able to just refocus and move on.

The last couple days, however, have been unbearable. Last night, I had several pieces of chocolate, telling myself it was a one-time splurge for PMS. Today, however, the cravings are even worse! I ate one piece, but am going crazy for another...or another five, lol! My roommate is baking brownies, and I’m seriously considering going to bed at like 8:00 to avoid eating any.

I’ve also found over the years that if I change my lifestyle in any way, my PMS is way worse that month. I know that’s weird, but it goes both ways; when I have been eating better or worse. I’m hoping this PMS way worse because I’ve been being healthier, and will be more manageable next month.

Ladies...these cravings are driving me wild...how do you resist eating all the chocolate?
