Hello! I’ve been told since elementary school that something needed to be done about my weight. And yet here I am, in high school, at 200 pounds (female, between 5’5 and 5’6) I guess I never really cared when I was younger, but now I know that something needs to be done. So starting with a couple days ago I took a look at why I could never seem lose weight.
- I tend to eat pretty big portions
- I’m not very active
- I like to eat unnecessary snacks
So now that I think I’ve got the problem, I’m gonna try to fix it. I’ve noticed that these are even bigger problems now, since my school district has been fully virtual for a couple months now. Exercise is probably going to be the hardest change, since all my hobbies involve sitting down, and as I said before, school just being me sitting in my bed staring and the computer all day isn’t exactly helping either. But I’m gonna try. I have a reason to now, as I realize the health issues that could come, and I want to start doing things like volleyball and cosplaying.
I’m a little worried about loose skin since I’ve heard that you get that from losing a lot of weight but I’d rather lose it than keep gaining.
