How do I deal with constant smell of food?

My parents moved in with me a couple years ago and I basically gained all the weight I had lost. Now I'm trying to get back on track but the constant smell of food is driving me crazy. My father loves cooking and will cook multiple times a day, he even makes his own bread almost daily. Even when I try to not think about food (which is hard for me) the smell keeps making me hungry and bringing back cravings. I can't ask him not to cook, it's basically what he loves and he is not overweight as he doesn't eat much. In addition to that my mother also loves making cakes and stuff like that so in the end there is food being cooked almost all day jn my house. How can I keep control of my diet and also do my work in this environment? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
