Getting to my ideal body type

Hi all, kind of new, kind of not. I’ve been losing weight the past 6 months and have lost 20 lbs. I did this purely by being in calorie deficit, IF and rarely ‘worked out’ mainly just walking to shops. But I was wondering if I would still be able to achieve my ideal body type I.e go from a 36” waist to 28” waist by being in a calorie deficit alone would I need to incorporate some kind of work out to get rid of the rolls? I tried an Emi Wong workout yesterday and I can barely walk today so I don’t think that doing intense exercises will help so I am considering walking 2 miles a day. Will I eventually get to my ideal body type this way or will I need to start doing HIIT workouts to tone up easier? Thanks cousins, I love you
