Need serious help with Chips

It’s pretty much the only food I can’t get myself to get under control. I can have Greek yogurt with fruit and nuts for breakfast and a salad for lunch and a decent dinner but the one thing I can’t break is chips. If I don’t have them, I find myself thinking about them constantly until I’ve convinced myself that i won’t eat the whole bag (I usually do) or I won’t get any for the rest of the week (bold faced lie). I’m approaching 300 lbs which is the most I’ve ever been and the one time I was on track for losing weight (down 40 lbs), it was because I cut out chips for a month. I was doing amazing and feeling good about my progress and then they caught up to me again. I’m just not sure how to cut them out sustainably. I’m out of my depth. Please help.
