alright, so to get started, my doctor wants me to gain weight, since i am underweight. she is asking me to gain 15 pounds. i have always had a skinny fat body type all my life, and even when i am really underweight. this is because i doubt i have a lot of muscle on my body. i really do not want to just put fat on. i would like to not gain any fat, and gain muscle, so i can get the toned look i have always been wanting, but also gain some weight without looking like i put on weight. advice? suggestions? keep in mind i do not have gym access at this time, but i do have lightweights at home. also, in terms of diet, i am vegetarian.
