I'm a 21 year old female university level athlete. I work out pretty hard usually 5 times a week. I noticed that although I'm doing cardio and lifting weights, I feel "soft" and bloated all the time. I weighed myself and realized i've gained 20lbs!! I'm at my heaviest weight i've ever been, and i'm extremely self conscious about it. I'm vegan and i've tried being more aware of eating whole foods and veggies but I've only gained even more weight since. I'm eating enough calories to sustain my activity level and performance (approx. 2000 cals most likely more during quarantine) but I haven't had my period in 2 months either. Any suggestions? Could this be a hormonal weight gain thing? Feeling lost and not seeing progress in whatever I do :(
