28M H: 6’6 SW: 423.2lbs CW: 417.6lbs GW: 250lbs (atleast)
So I'm new to reddit I recently started to try to lose some weight I'm super embarrassed at how much I've let myself go over the years. It didn't help that I managed to luck my way into being a Big & Tall male model for certain clothing companies as one of my jobs, I got wrapped up in the money & even though it's no excuse I think that's part of my problem I keep telling myself to stay positive about my body like being "Fat" is beautiful & lying to myself that's it's okay to be this way & honestly it's really not, atleast not for me I really dislike my body right now I currently have man boobs that I'm super insecure about. Mainly because I used to be 576 pounds but do to depression & a eating disorder I lost a lot, way to fast & almost died now I have lose skin in some areas even though I'm still overweight.
So I'm trying to do better & go about this a lot smarter this time around. I try to eat healthier, I've cut out sweets, sodas, fast foods altogether I do my best to go to the gym as often as I can usually 3 to 4 times a week depending on my work schedule & how many people are at the gym! (I've been made fun of countless times by several body builder guys at my local gym cuz I'm basically shaped like a potato) so I usually try to workout at the gym when I know there isn't many people there. Anyways I'm just not seeing the results I want. I could really use some none judgmental advice on diets & other stuff that has worked for you that may or may not work for me. I'm literally willing to try anything at this point I'm really determined to lose this weight & live a healthier lifestyle any advice would be gladly appreciated.
