Struggling. Food choices are better and yet the scale isn’t moving.

Ok I fell off the wagon a bit and now I’m back to 180. Made a deal with my trainer to spend 1 month eating clean, no drinking, and doing cardio on top of my daily workouts to see if I could do it. I know I can. I started at 183lbs last Friday. Went up to 184 on Monday and now on Wednesday I’m at 180.8. I usually don’t eat lunch bc when I’m not actively working (I’m a photographer/filmmaker) I’m sitting and editing or doing computer work.

Writing it out I guess I am losing everyday but I just want to be out of the 180s so bad.

I bought a Whoop and have realized that my body naturally burns about 1600 calories a day so I try to keep my food intake under that. I don’t track it but it’s an estimate. Tracking my calories always made me paranoid. With exercise I burn about 2000-2100 calories a day. I have 3 bulging discs and just can’t push as hard. Pre back injury I was burning ~3500 calories a day.

I guess I’m just frustrated that I can’t move as much or as easily and have to really home in on the nutrition and I won’t see big results like I’m used to.
