It’s totally understandable but it’s frustrating seeing other places manage with social distancing while this place still can’t cope and knows there’ll be another lockdown if they open anything (Wales).
I paid last August for a year long gym membership. I wasnt able to use it much because I would finish work at 5pm and get home at 6, and then walking to the gym would be another 20 minuted after getting home, then the exercise would take 40 minutes, and then I’d have to go pretty much straight to bed when I got back.
Now I’m on furlough (good) but am being made redundant in 2 weeks (bad). I’ve not been able to get good exercise for quite some time. I take walks but it’s boring and not intensive. My bike is in poor condition and needs to be serviced or replaced, bike shop is closed. I have 4kg weights at home but space is really cramped here so I can only do a couple of exercises.
Unfortunately I’ve not had much success trying to get any extensions or money back from the gym. All gyms will be closed for at least the next 3 weeks and I anticipate this one won’t open for a long time.
Just wanted to vent. Ive still managed to lose 3.5kilos since March on diet alone, but I feel like a lack of walking to work and back every day is not helping.
