Soooo typical disclaimer I’m on my phone so apologies for any formatting issues! I have been trying to change my life since mid-may. I’ve lost about 10lb which isn’t exactly a huge amount but it’s still 10lb down! Due to lockdown being lifted in the U.K. I could finally travel down to see my parents for the first time in 5 months. On the drive down I was determined to stay on track counting calories and eating well. I was so wrong! I didn’t go mental but slipped massively for the week. On top of that I was preparing for an interview for my dream teaching job. It was all pretty stressful and ended up face planting into a bag of Easter eggs which had been waiting on me since March. Fast forward a week and a half I finally stepped on the scale to see a 2lb gain. But with that small gain of 2lb I have also gained an amazing week with family and I also got the job! I’m getting back into my regular routine and it feels good. I’m sure the 2lb will be gone soon. The biggest progress I’ve seen is in my mental health. Previously, feeling like I had ‘fallen off the wagon’ would massively impact me for weeks and make me spiral into old habits. Instead I’m back to my normal routine and being kind to myself. It feels great! Have a beautiful Wednesday everyone! What a wild ride this is!
