So, due to Covid I had a lot more time at home and started to get right into tracking my calories and exercising regularly.
I did a walk that went for about 1 hour a day with some light jogging and some hills. I also went on about 2500 cals per day.
I lost about 10kgs pretty quickly, averaging a bit over 1kg per week.
I got down to 112kg (187cm tall male) and seem to have plateaued. I took a bit of a break for a month or two and went back to 3000cals per day.
Now im back on 2500cals and 1 hour of walking, not quite as intense but now with some weight sessions as well.
I cant seem to get under 110kgs. Has anyone been here before? Ive been stuck at this weight for a couple of months.
Do I need to work out more and harder, eat less, a bit of both, take a big long break for many months and stabilize. Id like to drop another 5-15kgs (15 being the dream but even another 5 for now would be great).
Im worried about cutting down to 2200 or 2000 cals as so many people say dont go too low, but maybe this isnt too low. Plus, ive managed to stick to 2500 for so long now im worried about making it harder and ending up binging and loosing all my progress and momentum and motivation etc.
And please no generic flippant comments, I'm looking for EXPERIENCE of people who have been here and broken through the wall, not regurgitating advice heard elsewhere.
Thanks in advance :)
