Anyone else experience long lasting weight gain after 1 night of heavy drinking? I put on 6lbs in one night and it took me a week to get rid of.

I over did it a bit on the 4th, I'll admit. I kept my food intake under 1,000 calories that day, but the drinks plus being on an empty stomach led to total intoxication. The next morning I was shocked to see a 6 pound increase in my weight.

I know the weight gain cant be calories, because there is no way I ate 21k+ in one night. I've measured every bite of food since that day, and always stayed well under my goal. I just cannot believe it took a full week to undo that damage, I could have been 2 pounds lighter by today if it wasnt for the 4th.

I know drinking is said to cause water retention, but holy hell, something doesnt feel right about this. That like 12 EXTRA cups of water inside me
