I started off at 218 lbs in July of 2019 and lost 20 lbs by the end of the year through walking and calorie counting. Between starting a new job and studying for a licensing exam, I felt overwhelmed and decided to take a maintenance break for a few months to try and prevent binging/regaining it all. I started up again in October, this time with a combination of strength training and cardio along with calorie counting, and made it to 178!
This morning I was excited to see the number, but I was also struggling with the feeling that I didn't look any different. When I went to look at my starting pictures, I realized I was currently wearing the goal jeans I had originally bought for motivation and had to take progress pics to compare!
