Any Encouragement To Keep Going

For reference, I am M, 20, 6’0”, 240 with a SW of 310. I have been counting/restricting calories and trying to work out more since May of last year, and thought I was making great progress, until I’ve hit a complete wall recently, and even gained some pounds back from what my lowest was. I am trying to work out regularly, but it has remained extremely difficult as I am not used to the regimen. I feel myself slipping back into old habits, and I think that seeing a plateau for a long while after trying a bunch of different things led me to get so frustrated that I started giving up. I can’t go back to how I used to be, but don’t know where to go from here since I feel like it’ll just result in another impenetrable plateau. Not really a point to this post, but if anyone has any advice, similar stories, or words of encouragement, it’d be greatly appreciated. I am inspired by your commitment and passion, so thanks for reading.
