I keep seeing conflicting information about whether 1200 is too low amount of calories to eat per day unless you're especially short. I'm 5'6, so not tall but definitely not a below average height for a woman. I'm already at a healthy weight of 141 but I'm looking to cut another 10 pounds or so.
For the past month or so I've stuck to between 1100 and 1300 calories everyday, counting calories and weighing food. I was hungry at first but now I feel very satisfied with this amount of food. I'm eating relatively healthy, not much junk. I've only lost about 4 lbs this last month, so I don't think I'm losing too quickly.
I'm feeling good, does that mean 1200 calories is fine? I see some people on this and other weightloss subs that very strongly believe 1200 is way too low, but then I see /r/1200isplenty and lots of people seem pretty happy with it too.
