Over the last year I spent the first 6 months hitting the gym, eating right, running etc. I lost a decent amount of weight, maybe about 9kg tops before I went to a destination wedding. A week later I went on holiday. That messed up my routine and over 3 months I started sliding with regards to eating, drinking and training.
The last 3 months I’ve been going to the gym 2-3 times a week, but I’ve not been able to eat properly. It wasn’t a huge surprise that I ended up gaining most of the weight back.
On the plus side, I don’t look as fat on the same weight. I’ve also definitely built up strength, albeit a bit less than at my peak half a year ago.
Oh well, here’s to kicking off 2020 with dry January and getting back into counting calories. Who else is going to get their ass back on gear?
