Weight Loss for Everyone: Hi everyone

Thursday, January 23, 2020

Hi everyone

Im a 22 yo M, i have been overweight most of my life, 2 years ago i decided that i needed to take more care of my body and what i put in it and how little physical activity i do. I'm new to Reddit and after reading a couple posts in this thread i just wanted to share my story and maybe help someone.
I went from 104 Kg to 75 kg in 11 months, before i get into how i managed to do this, i just want to tell you that pressure from other people or partners won't help you and you shouldn't listen to them, it's all up to you to make changes in your life and those changes if started because someone made you feel bad about being overweight wont last ( believe me i tried several times, most of my friends and family used to hassle me in daily basis about my weight and even after deciding to make changes i could never keep it going because it wasn't coming from myself, from my need to be different ) and again this was my experience maybe for you it is different.
MAIN THINGS I DID IN THESE 11 MONTHS
1. Quit sugar
2. Used as less carbs as i could
3. Ate only from 12 to 19
4. I drank daily 2.5 to 3 liters of water ( this will be difficult at first but then you'll get used to it )
5. Exercised 5 times a week ( weight lifting and a little bit of cardio )
5.1 My workout routine:
Mon : legs/abs, treadmill for 10 minutes HIIT ( high intensity interval training )
Tue : chest HIIT
Wed : back/abs HIIT
Thur : rest day
Fri : shoulder/abs HIIT
Sat : Arms HIIT
Sun : rest day
6. Used as little of salt as i could
7. Restricted my alcohol intake ( only drank 2 or 3 beers on Friday's)
8. Got 8 hrs of sleep each night
9. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day never skip it ( whenever i skipped breakfast i ended up eating way more than needed when i got the chance)
10. My diet consisted of foods high in protein, and FIBER, in my experience never skip on fiber if eating lots of protein.
11. Tracked my weight and body size completely every Saturday.

I Hope this information helps someone, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
