Feeling really sleepy when cutting calories

So I cut my calories down to around 1200 and I feel sleepy and faint all of the time. I'm trying to eat low carb and low fat too which might be why but I'm not sure what to do. I went from drinking many sodas a day and eating out/a lot of carbs/fat and sugar often to 1200 calories a day, low carb, low fat and pretty much only sugar from the two pears I eat a day. I am thinking of increasing it to 1400 because I would like to also be able to exercise. I am 5'9 female and I started at 176 but now I'm down to 169.5 in a week. I'm just kind of worried about why I feel so bad. Should I eat more fat or could it be dehydration?

Edited to say I'm not trying to starve myself I started with a book that was telling me to eat 1200 calories a day in smoothies. I couldn't do that so I switched to food. I just want to be healthy and I dont know how. I used to eat really bad and I just needed a starting place.
