So a bit of context: I'm 29M 5'7" at the gym 4 days a week, been losing consistently around 0.5kg(1.2lb)/week since September 19. Had a bit of a stressful Christmas (my wife left) but somehow managed to stay consistent on the CICO/Gym. Obviously been a bit stressed, but my weight has been fairly normal, in that it's been trending similarly to what I'd seen in the past and my measurements are all progressing normally.
I'd been stalled around 74kgs for a week or so, but this morning I stepped on the scale and I'd dropped from 74.3kg(163.8lbs) to 69.4kg(153lbs).Basically I hit my GW two months early, overnight...
Naturally I didn't trust it (and still don't!) so I changed the battery in the scales, but it came out the same the next two times, even after 'tricking' the scales with extra weight to try and clear the memory! I'm expecting a significant rebound (if I remember I'll update with tomorrows weight) because it's such an extreme drop in 24 hours - and I'm out with friends tonight - but it's thrown me a bit.
I know large water weight manipulations are achieved in sports, but usually these are intentional! So I'm wondering what the biggest loss in one day any of you have seen is, or if you've experienced similar scale weirdness during a stressful time?
