Advice on calorie deficit

I'm 59F 340lb/5'7 sedentary. I've just begun CICO, my BMR is 2172 cal. TDEE is 2606 cal. To lose 2 lb/w (my favorite option, because I am very big) the app would have me eat 1600 cal. But I read in a post that I shouldn't go under the TDEE more than 30%. And so I have opted for losing 1.5 lb and eat 1850 cal.

Now, this is only the third day, but I almost feel that I eat more than I did before dieting. It may be too much! (BTW for this reason I just decided to buy some supplements for the thyroid, maybe that is the reason why I am so big, more than overeating). If I didn't fear to slow down the metabolism, I would opt for eating 1600 cal hand down. I don't know what to do. What do you suggest?

An additional problem is that my scale only weighs until 150kg, I know I am close and so I don't want to buy another one, but I can't really verify if I am losing anything, for now
