What if it isn't worth it?

I'm not gonna lie, I'm losing weight purely for cosmetic reasons. All of the other things such as better health and shit are nice bonuses to me, but I need to be skinny so I can build up some muscle. If I was attractive, about 80% of my insecurities would be gone.

And then I saw someone with loose skin online.

I'm a 220 pound 5'8" 14-year-old male. What's even the point of losing weight if I'm going to look that. I mean, I'm sure other people have their reasons, and I'm happy for them, but going from ballon to malted candle just isn't what I want to do. I'm too young to get plastic surgery, so does anyone know a hack or something to make sure the skin doesn't hang.
