losing weight as teen

so i’m trying to lose body fat purely for aesthetics. as a teen is it safe to be on a calorie deficit? i’m vegan and eat really healthy (mostly fruits, vegetables, good carbs). im athletic and exercise 5ish days a week and try to get enough protein, though it’s hard to get over 40g of protein. im do a sport but can’t play at the moment since i sprained my foot.

is there anyway i can safely lose fat but maintain or gain muscle at the same time? i realize that my mindset or goals might be very unhealthy and so now i’m trying to get others opinions. for reference i’m 110 lbs, 16 years old, 5’3 ft. is a deficit around 200-500 healthy?
