Hello, I’m a dude, 34 years old, 5’8”, and I have about 100 lbs I would like to lose in total. I started off at 255, and today I am 235 having lost 20 lbs in one month so far. I’m doing the protein sparing modified fast (PSMF), a type of keto diet, which is doing wonders for me since I am impatient waiting for results. However, I’m worried that I will have loose skin losing weight fairly quickly, especially considering I reached a point where I was 90 to 100 lbs overweight. I have been up and down between 210 and 255 for the past five years.
I was thinking of taking collagen supplements and vitamin C, plus using skin tightening cream everyday to be proactive while I’m losing weight. Am I still young enough that I shouldn’t worry about it too much? Or is it inevitable? Would supplements and cream help me or is it a waste of time?
Does anyone here have experiences with losing 100 lbs or dealing with loose skin they’re willing to share?
