I'm so lost as to what to do to lose weight. For background I am a 29 year old female - 5' 6" 240 lbs. I have a long history with ED and have been mostly recovered, subclinical with symptoms.
I feel like I've done it all. Weight watchers, intermittent fasting, core counting, disordered eating, noom, all of it!
I was an athlete growing up and would really love to be a runner/jogger again. I do try to go jogging and get 6,000 steps a day, I hike, walk the dog, do yoga, and hula hoop.
I've also been through some food sensitivity testing and have to learn to eat totally different as I am apparently sensitive to wheat, soy, cows milk, and a host of other fruits and veggies.
It's so hard trying to lose weight for health reasons with an ED history. I'm overwhelmed and feeling powerless.
I recently had labs done and my numbers aren't great. I don't know how to start without falling off the deep end with disordered behaviors.
Any help is much appreciated, how do I do this? 🙏
